Can't help but wonder if being open to the 'next logical increment' will serve people well in a changing world, where professions, qualifications, jobs, and career paths are set to shift to what we can't yet imagine. My big career shifts have happened when putting my hand up, without a seconds thought, to go to a foreign country to manage a project or start a new role. It always works out....with lots of learning and leads to next, bigger things.
